Varsity Lanes/Castaway Jam/Return of the Mash

A high profile football game makes for a good crowd at a sports bar. This was the case at the Varsity Lanes as we started playing while the Wisconsin game was on. The main TV was just overhead of us, and most of the eyes were on the game. But all said, it was a good crowd and a good night. And as always, thanks to all who stopped out. Saturday night was also the start of Matt’s Halloween tradition of “Monster Mash”. We’re back at the Varsity the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It’s nice to have a place in Milton to play and I hope this continues to be a regular place for us.
Sunday was a return to Castaways with Cary. A disappointing loss for the Pack, but a good crowd. Thanks to Cyndi and Matt for stopping out and playing. Also thanks to Captain Jack and Steve Peck for sitting in. Cary was in playing mode and we played later than usual. I didn’t mind and the crowd was into it. We’ll be back in two weeks with Cyndi back in the lineup. Next weekend has the band back at Tremors. We have a few new songs on the list, including Monster Mash, and are looking forward to good time. See you at Tremors!
