Hi all, sorry I haven’t updated this for awhile. The summer just flew by and I can’t believe it’s Fall already. I have been very busy at the market and getting decorated for Fall. I really like this time of the year. It’s so pretty. We will be having hayrides soon. We played at the Owl’s Club this past weekend and I felt bad that it wasn’t busier. It makes me feel guilty when the club doesn’t do well enough to justify live music. The economy is really taking it’s toll on everyone. I have had a very stressful summer with my oldest son. He just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. I try not to blame myself but you always wonder if you could have done something different. But when they are 22 I guess it’s their problem. But you still worry even when you tell yourself not to. He is supposed to be going to jail tomorrow. At least I’ll know where he is and that he isn’t getting in trouble. I just pray that he will learn something from it. I just want him to be happy and to have a good life. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. Anyway, I’d appreciate it if you could keep him in your prayers. Should be a busy week at the market. Stop out and see me. We are at Tremor’s this coming weekend. That’s always a good time. See you soon. Love, Cyndi

Hi all, Seems like it’s been so long since we played. I’ve been pretty busy. The Fair was fun. The weather has been strange this year. It’s finally feeling like summer out. I’m sore from weeding the pumpkins. Looks like we are going to have a good crop this year. I can’t believe it’s time for another birthday. Doesn’t seem like it’s been a whole year since the big 50 party. I’m sure this one will come and go much more quietly. Tim has a birthday on the 12th I believe. Don’t forget to come out and wish him a happy birthday this weekend. I’m ready to have some fun. Stop out to the Owl’s and party with us.

July is moving right along. Today was the first day for our sweet corn. I ate some for supper and it is once again wonderful. I have been going 100 miles an hour this week and it’s only Tuesday. Feels good to sit down. There is always something to do. Tremor’s was fun. I’m looking forward to the Wolf’s Den on Saturday. We will be using smaller set up. ( like knutes) Hope we have a good crowd. Stop out everybody.

Hi, summer is finally here. I am so happy about that even if it does mean working. My job at the market is actually very relaxing and enjoyable. Bryan got me this awesome tv and I have kittens to play with and I get visitors once in awhile and get to watch the garden grow. I’m easily amused what can I say?
Marshall was very fun. It didn’t even rain this year. The weather was perfect. They gave us a cooler full of refreshments and we had a great time playing music. Again, what more can I ask for?
Yea I would say life is going pretty good right now.
I do feel sad sometimes when I think about my mom. It’s hard to grasp. I don’t think it has really sunk in yet. Life gets harder to understand the older I get. Maybe it gets easier to understand and that’s what bothers me.
I just want to live each day and not sweat the small stuff. Before we know it it’s the end and we have missed the really important stuff. I don’t want to do that.
Well another 4th of July is upon us so let’s put on our red, white and blue, wave our flags and party in Milton. See you there!

We are playing at Junction Pub on Saturday the 13th. Last time we were there it was really a great time. Hope to see everyone out. Bryan’s party was a great success. He was surprised until everyone started showing up and he was still working in the pumpkin patch. Oh well, I can’t believe I kept it from him as long as I did. The barn is a great place for a party that’s for sure. Thanks to the band for playing for me. I have been getting the market ready to open and trying to keep the weeds out. We have peas ready for the Janesville farmers market this week. Everything else is growing good. Can’t wait to get into it full swing. See you all at Junction.

I decided that the rodeo is not the life for me. I think I’ll stay off the bulls from now on. It’s fun to watch though. We played at the Wild Ride Saloon in Evansville on Saturday. It was fun but painful. We will be back there on June 6 from 5-10 for a charity tub run. They are expecting a thousand people. Should be fun. But you won’t be seeing me ride the bull. I don’t think my tail bone will be recovering anytime soon. I forget how old I am sometimes!
We are off this weekend. We are taking Mom’s ashes to Wauzeka on Sunday for burial. Have a great week. Cyndi

First I want to thank everyone for their kind words, cards , prayers and hugs after the loss of my mom. I don’t think it has really sunk in yet. It’s been such a busy week trying to get everything done that I really haven’t had much time to think. Maybe this week I can actually sit down and reflect. We played at Quotes on Friday night. It was quite fun. We had a nice crowd and everyone was very appreciative. We will be back there again I’m sure. Saturday we had a wedding at the Holiday Inn Express. It was also fun to play a wedding since we don’t get to play as many as we used to. ( DJs ya know) I would really like to get some more weddings. Hope everyone enjoyed the nice weather today. It’s supposed to be nice again tomorrow. It’s about time. I shall savor every minute. We just got a recorded message from Milton High School that it will be closed for the next two days due to a case of the swine flu. That’s scarey. Dylan doesn’t mind I’m sure. Hopefully it’s just a false alarm. We have Friday off and then it’s another new place to play. Saturday we will be at the Red Barn in Evansville. Now called Geno’es. Come out and check it out. Love, Cyndi

Wow playing at the Moose was so strange. When we started the first song, I felt like it was the first time I ever played. It did get somewhat better as the night went on. We were very soft. I think they liked us ok. It was nice getting done at 10:30. Anyway… The Owl’s club was fairly busy. I think we did get some overflow from the Break in the Weather parties. Nice crowd. Joy and her bachlorette party were out. She looks awesome after her 70 lb weight loss. Way to go Joy!! Happy Wedding Day. It’s back to Tremor’s next weekend. I’m ready for some sunshine. Take care, Cyndi:)

It was a fun Saturday at Knutes. Late night though. I’m really ready for Spring, actually Summer would be nicer. It feels like this Winter has gone on forever. Why do I live in Wisconsin again? I could really use a beach and a Pina Colada about now. It won’t be long and we’ll be planting and getting ready for the market to open again. I shouldn’t live for the future I guess. Enjoy the moment right? Anyway, we are off this weekend. I hope everyone has a nice Easter. Easter is a time of new beginnings and rebirth. The day the Jesus rose from the dead and gave us eternal life. I love Easter…Have a blessed one. Love, Cyndi
