Cyndi’s Thoughts

We had a great night at the Owls Club. Nice crowd. Some of Bryan and my classmates were out. It was kind of set up through Facebook. It was great to see people we haven’t seen in many years. Also some friends we see quite often. It was a really fun time. I’m still recovering from my fall last Wednesday. I tripped and fell up at the barn and cracked my head and my knee pretty good. It’s harder to fall when you get older. I’m healing up anyway. I felt like such a clutz. Corey and Missy ( my son and fiance) might be moving into an apartment in Milton. The funny part about it is that it’s the same house Jeff and I lived in when we were first married. We lived downstairs and they will live upstairs. It’s the same landlord too. Small world. They still haven’t decided on a date yet. I thought it would be next June but they aren’t sure yet. More news, Dylan got his license last Wednesday. That will be nice. He can drive himself to all of his activities. Well time to get some sleep. Hope you can all make it to Brooklyn on Saturday. Hopefully it won’t be so cold this year. Have a great week. Love, Cyndi

Bryan and I got to go to the Fleetwood Mac concert in Chicago last Thursday. We were invited by a friend of Bryan’s who just happened to be Lindsey Buckinham’s father in law. It was really fun. We got to meet Lindsey and his wife and got to go backstage before the concert. We had a great time and the band sounded great. Bryan has been a big fan of Fleetwood Mac for a long time and he really enjoyed it. It was so nice of his friend Matt to invite us. That was my excitement for the week. Hope to see you all out at the Owl’s. Seems like forever since we last played.

It was a nice weekend off. I did make it out to the jam @ Anchor Inn Sunday. It was fun and there were quite a few musicians out. They sounded good. Just getting ready for Dylan to get his drivers license on the 11th. ( he turns 16 on the 9th.) Corey is now engaged to Missy. (very sweet girl) They have tenatively set a date for June 12, 2010. We’ll see… My mom is doing a whole lot better. Hopefully she will be going home soon. We have one more weekend off and then it’s back to the Owl’s Club. Don’t forget to wish Bob a Happy Birthday on the 2nd.
