Cyndi’s Thoughts

Wow, where has the time gone?  It is my busy time of the year.  I’ve been planting.  I have the sunburn and the sore muscles to prove it.  Everything is going to be late this year.  The corn is up and getting taller.  We are going to try to open on July 1st.  Income would be good.  My kittens are getting bigger and are soooo cute!! Still looking for homes. Yesterday I had one of the moms spayed. Also I ended up having to put the dad down. While the vet was here we found out he had advanced feline lukemia. It was very sad.  Poor Tyrone.  Bryan has been so busy with the township because of all the flooding. Charleys Bluff is in Milton Township and so is the Mallwood area.  He has been on the phone and dealing with that for over a week. Not much time for farming.  Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.  ( Bryan is the chairman of Milton Township).  We are off tonight. Tomorrow we are practicing and then playing at Mick and Tony’s on Saturday and at Marshall on Sunday. I don’t think it’s supposed to rain either!  Dylan got his braces off this week.  He starts drivers ed in July. Unreal. Corey will be 21 on July 2. I’m getting old!  How can I have a 21 year old son when I’m only 35?  Ha Ha. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Hopefully we’ll see you out.  Love, Cyndi
