Cyndi’s Thoughts

Hi, hope everyone is doing good. Sorry I haven’t written lately.  I’ve been waiting for Spring. Not happenin’ tho.  We are still waiting to plant peas. They are usually in by now.  It is going to be a late season I think. I have 5 kittens.  They are really getting active now. They are about 6 weeks old. (free by the way) If anyone is interested. Very cute.  Call me if you want to see them.  The commercial is over.  We are playing at Knutes on Friday and a new place on Saturday.  It used to be the Pitchers Mound, now I believe it it is called Sommers Pub.  But everyone still knows it as the Pitchers Mound so we will call it that for now.  Hope everyone can make it.  I’ll write again when I have something more interesting to talk about.  Peace. Hi, We had a great time at the Countryside this weekend.  We got to play in the tent outside. It was a little chilly but we still had a great time.  I am watching the CMT awards right now.  I just heard from Doug and Deb Brookins. They are there at the awards. They called and said they could see Tim & Faith from where they were sitting.  That would be so great to go to something like that.  They also saw Martina Mcbride. Anyway it sounds like they’re having a great time.  See you all at Tremor’s.  LOVE, Cyndi

It was a fun weekend in South Beloit.  The stage was a little small but we managed.  Tony the owner was very nice and seemed to enjoy the band.  Illinois is now smoke free and I really liked it.  Of course not being a smoker I don’t know how the smokers felt.  I have been to other states that have the same law and eventually people adapt and it doesn’t seem to hurt business.  In fact I know alot more of my friends would come out if it wasn’t for the smoke.  I hear it all the time. ” It’s just too smokey “.  I’m sure by now that my lungs are already damaged  but it would save future bar goers and employees from lung damage.  I liked coming home not smelling like smoke.   Just my opinion….Anyway I’m sure eventually it will happen all over the country.   Thanks to all who came out.  We are at the Countryside this weekend on Friday night and Saturday afternoon for their outdoor party. Right now I think we are playing from 3-7 outside.  Rich was supposed to call me and confirm it.  He was concerned about the weather and was waiting to see the weather report.  I will keep you posted on the guest book.  Have a great week !
