Hope everyone survived Christmas. It was busy at our house we had 3 family parties all together. By the 3rd one I had this hostess thing down pretty good. I’m tired now and can’t believe that the weekend is coming up so fast. Wow 2008, I can’t believe it. Hope everyone can make it out to the Owl’s Club this weekend and on New Years Eve. I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I don’t go for the “Happy Holidays” stuff. We are celebrating Christmas. If you don’t believe in Christmas then don’t celebrate it. When it is Valentines day, we don’t say Happy Holidays. We say” Happy Valentines day. ” I just wanted to make my feelings known. It is the celebration of Jesus Christ’s birth. That’s why it is called Christmas. Merry Christmas, may you be filled with the joy of the season and the love of Jesus in your heart. Peace to all. love, Cyd

I’m just loafing on the couch. We aren’t playing tonight because of the lovely winter weather. I did make it to the mall today. I mean, c’mon Kohl’s had a great sale. I won’t let a little freezing rain stop me from shopping. I got a great deal on a new jacket. It was 50% off plus an extra 15% off because of the one day sale, then I had a coupon for another 15% off, heck it was almost free! Oh and I had a $45 gift card. A successful day if I say so myself. Life is good! It’s too bad we aren’t playing tonight. But it might be nice to see a little Saturday night tv for once. ( If only there wasn’t ice on the satelite dish) CRAP!! The scanner is interesting though, a lot of run offs and roll overs, even a shooting in Beloit. My life is so exciting!! I hope nobody has to go out in this tonight. If so be careful. Don’t forget we will still be at the VFW tomorrow afternoon. I can’t wait. Lots of raffles, food, drink and fun. It’s all for a good cause. Don’t miss it. See you later.
